Sustaining Our World

Global Forces,
Community Action

March 6, 2007
11:30am to 4:00pm
Golden Gate Club
The Presidio
San Francisco, CA

What are the top trends impacting our world? How might these trends play out across and within our communities? How will they likely impact the philanthropic sector and cross-sector work in areas such as health, education, the environment, and social justice? What kind of initiatives can address these issues, locally and beyond?

Come hear one of the world’s pre-eminent futurists share the results of ongoing research into the major forces shaping society. His presentation will be followed by remarks from an inspiring community leader who is working to fulfill a positive vision of sustainability and vitality in her community, the South Bronx.

Peter SchwartzKeynote Speaker:
Peter Schwartz, Co-founder and Chairman,
