Annual Leadership Learning Community Gathering: Creating Space

Creating a More Diverse and Inclusive Leadership Culture
Supporting Innovation and Social Change

The Leadership Learning Community (LLC) invites you to join us May 4-6th at historic Preservation Park in Oakland, California for our annual national gathering, Creating Space VI. Our theme this year is “Creating a More Diverse and Inclusive Leadership Culture/Supporting Innovation and Social Change.” Participants in the Leadership Learning Community (LLC), across diverse experiences and perspectives, share a deep belief that leadership can help to bring about a transformation of society. Collectively, we invest in supporting and developing leadership in organizations, communities, and systems. To support significant innovation and change, we need to develop leadership that represents a rich diversity of perspectives, experiences, and cultures. A series of conversations held with LLC members over the past year suggest that there are a very limited set of characteristics that are defined as leader-like which can limit the recognition, support and acceptance of people of color as leaders.

In depth information about these sessions, registration materials and additional details are available at our website or call Bella Celnik at (510) 238-9080 or email
