RAG Research: California Grantmakers and Professional Development Report

In the autumn of 2001, a Regional Association of Grantmakers (RAG) collaborative led by Northern California Grantmakers and including the Southern California Association for Philanthropy and San Diego Grantmakers launched a survey effort to develop a profile of California grantmakers and their experiences with and interests in professional development.

Who Participated in the Study

A total of 822 members of one of the three sponsoring regional associations of grantmakers in the collaborative group were surveyed. 361 grantmakers responded for a 44% response rate.
