Northern California Grantmakers is pleased to sponsor this innovative, in–depth course created for seasoned grantmakers: Advanced Grant Portfolio Management: A Framework for Strategic Grantmaking developed by The Grantmaking School at Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, Michigan. It is the first university–based curriculum created specifically to address the specialized needs of professional grantmakers with three or more years experience.
Recently improved, the Advanced Grant Portfolio Management course will help grantmakers learn about the strategic benefit of developing a foundation lens to inform strategy development. Combining structured learning with substantive discussion and small group work among peers, this rich and informative course focuses on only the most relevant issues for grantmakers.
