Issue Area Briefings

Issue Area Briefings are interactive sessions centered on topics related to one or more grantmaking issue area, such as health, education, arts.

Issue Area Briefings are designed to raise grantmaker awareness of a topic and initiate a discussion about it. Sessions frequently include case studies of foundations' grantmaking experience. They also often feature developments related to theory and practice in a particular field, such as recent research.
