About Our Members

More than 170 grantmaking foundations and corporations make up Northern California Grantmakers. In 2008 our members awarded over $3 billion to charitable organizations in the Bay Area and around the world.

NCG members make grants in every funding area, including: education, children & youth, arts & culture, health, the environment, and social services. Their work affects millions of lives and improves communities in this region, across the country and around the world.
