AIDS Partnership California
AIDS Partnership California (APC) started as an NCG collaborative fund in 1987. Managed by NCG member driven AIDS Task Force, APC used its pooled funds to focus grantmaking on addressing the crisis of HIV/AIDS in the San Francisco Bay Area.
In 2007 APC formed a new partnership with California HIV/AIDS Research Program (CHRP) and left NCG to become one of CHRP's funding programs. At its new home, APC has shifted from functioning as a pooled responsive grantmaking fund to proactively identifying and addressing significant regional and statewide needs.
