Northern California Grantmakers offers hands-on skill-building workshops for grantmaking professionals at all stages in their careers.
Each year, staff works closely with the Organizational Effectiveness and Professional Development Committee to develop new skill-building workshops that are responsive to members' needs and interests.

This highly-acclaimed, two-day institute teaches grantmaking basics in a series of interactive workshops. - Corporate Philanthropy Institute
A day-long conference focusing on the issues facing corporate grantmakers. - Public Policy Advocacy Workshop
Presented in partnership with Alliance for Justice, this training explores the legal rules governing public policy advocacy. - Financial Analysis For Grantmakers Series
Northern California Grantmakers, in partnership with San Diego Grantmakers and Southern California Grantmakers, is pleased to announce a statewide financial analysis series presented in partnership with Nonprofit Finance Fund that will sharpen the financial assessment skills of grantmakers at all professional levels. - Heart of Philanthropy
Offered every two years, this retreat for seasoned grantmakers focuses on reconnecting to the work with both head and heart.
