Snapshots of Philanthropy

Demonstrating the Impact of Northern California Grantmakers

Snapshots of Philanthropy, is special a year-long series that aims to better demonstrate the scope and impact of our members work.

These short “snapshot” stories showcase the positive impact organized philanthropy has in northern California, and we plan to use them to educate external audiences about why our members fund who they fund, and what changes are happening as a result of these investments. Over the course of the year we will expand this collection to showcase the many ways our members make a difference in communities, whether through sustaining, leveraging, or partnering on key initiatives with local organizations.

Take A Look

The Snapshots of Philanthopy are meant to offer a glimpse into the many ways organized philanthropy is making a difference in our community.

The initial set of featured snapshots provide a sampling of our members' funding strategies, giving structures, and geographic regions covered. As additional Snapshots are developed and released they will be available for download below.

We welcome the opportunities to help to tell our members' stories, and look forward to demonstrating their respective impact to other members, policymakers, community leaders in California and beyond.
