Briefings & Gatherings

Each year, NCG offers briefings and gatherings that inform and inspire grantmakers and connect them more deeply to their work and to each other.

These interactive sessions introduce grantmakers to concepts in effective philanthropy, new developments in grantmaking issue areas, and updates on policy issues and legislation. Social gatherings bring members together to connect with each other and renew their commitment to philanthropy.

2012 Documentary Film Series

NCG, in partnership with The San Francisco Foundation and Cal Humanities, is launching a quarterly Documentary Film Series in 2012. The first-ever film series will provide members with an opportunity to experience some of the most celebrated documentaries to come out of the Bay Area and to learn about an alternative and power medium for promoting their missions.
